NTN EUROPE Holds the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the New Head Office

Strengthening business promotion system for regional strategy as a core base for Europe business

NTN EUROPE S.A (hereafter, NTN EUROPE), which is a consolidated subsidiary of NTN Corporation (hereafter, NTN) and develops, manufactures, and sells bearings in the European region, held a groundbreaking ceremony on July 10 at the planned construction site of a new head office building in Haute-Savoie, France. The new office building is scheduled to be completed in March 2026.

The construction of the new building was decided on the city's urban development. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by approximately 60 people, including Yves Le Breton, Governor of Haute-Savoie, Francois Astorg, Mayor of the city of Annecy, and other local government officials. Our group members included Eiichi Ukai, CEO of NTN, Masaaki Yamamoto, Executive Officer in charge of the European region, and Dominique Lavilla, President of NTN EUROPE.

Governor Le Breton gave a comment on NTN's contribution for the creation of local jobs and future development. CEO Ukai of NTN commented that NTN and NTN EUROPE are committed to responding to future changes through development of new technologies and skills at the new head office. Subsequently, he planted cherry trees together with guests including Governor Le Breton hoping that NTN and NTN EUROPE will grow together with the local communities in the following 100 years.

NTN EUROPE joined NTN Group in 2008 and has been developing, manufacturing, and selling bearings for automobiles, aerospace, railway rolling stock, and various industrial machinery as a core base for NTN's European operations. In 2023, they changed the name from NTN-SNR ROULEMENTS to NTN EUROPE, which has enhanced its strategic roles in NTN's European operation. NTN EUROPE will continue to strengthen business promotion system and work to expand sales and penetrate NTN brands in the European region by responding to market demand, including decarbonization.
